November 3 , 2022 – The South Valley Chamber of Commerce honored Steve Starks , CEO of the Larry H . Miller Company , as one of their Titan Awards recipients . The Titan Awards are designed to recognize leaders who have consistently demonstrated their long-term commitment to the community by giving back , being actively engaged , and making a significant positive impact .
November 3 , 2022 – Advanced Health Care celebrated the grand opening of its newest and most luxurious 5-star facility in Nashville , Tennessee , with a VIP reception for company executives and healthcare leaders from the surrounding area .
December 5 , 2022 – Members of the Miller Family Office hosted a holiday party for refugee families in the Salt Lake area at Larry H . Miller Megaplex Theatres . For some , this was their first time going to the movies ! Members of the Miller family and office staff provided small gifts for the families to celebrate the holiday season .
December 14 , 2022 – Movie fans at the LHM Megaplex Theatres at Thanksgiving Point enjoy the latest innovation in state-ofthe-art moviegoing . The new PlatinumX experience features the ultimate Premium Large Format ( PLF ) technologies , including laser projection and a top-of-the-line Dolby Atmos ® audio system .
December 14 , 2022 – The Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation donated $ 50,000 to TETON Sports to provide 1,000 zero-degree , high-quality sleeping bags to Ukrainians in Ukraine and Poland .
December 15 , 2022 – Gail Miller and the Larry H . Miller Company were presented with the Utah Visionary Award by Envision Utah for their support of the organization since its founding 25 years ago .
January 10 , 2023 – Ski Utah created the Discover Winter program to make skiing and snowboarding more inclusive . The Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation donated to the program to help bring more people of color to the
slopes . This season , upwards of 150 participants from Future Scholars of Africa , Weber State University ’ s Diversity Clubs , Morgan Stanley , Outdoor Afro and other organizations visited a Utah ski resort four times for ski or snowboard lessons . Participating resorts include Alta Ski Area , Brighton Ski Resort , Deer Valley Resort , Snowbird , Snowbasin and Solitude Mountain Resort .
January 19 , 2023 – Popcorn lovers had the best day ever as all 15 LHM Megaplex locations in Utah and Nevada celebrated National Popcorn Day . The Megaplex team served thousands of movie fans , including many who brought their 2023 MegaTub or NFT popcorn tubs for a free refill .
