Miller family celebrates the 32nd anniversary of the annual Christmas Carole Sing-Along, a free holiday concert held at Vivint Smart Home Arena. This year’s event will feature Grammy-nominated artist Jenny Oaks Baker along with a 60-piece orchestra led by Sterling Poulson. The concert begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. “The holidays are a magical time of year enjoyed with family and friends, and our family is excited to share an evening of Christmas carols with all of our friends at the sing-along this year,” said Gail Miller, owner, Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. “America’s Violinist,” Jenny Oaks Baker, is a Grammy-nominated, Billboard No. 1 recording artist and performer. Whether her music is experienced live or through one of her many recordings, it is impossible to escape the magic of her artistry. Jenny began playing the violin at age four, and made her solo orchestral debut in 1983 when she was only eight years old. She received her Master of Music degree from the renowned Juilliard School in New York City and her bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Jenny has released 15 studio albums since 1998. They have sold over half a million copies and consistently chart on Billboard. Jenny’s emotionally stirring music has also been featured on the soundtracks of many films, and her popular music videos can be viewed on her Youtube Channel. Jenny, her husband Matthew, and their four children reside in Salt Lake City, Utah. Audience members are provided with printed programs with song lyrics and are encouraged to sing along. The concert is free and open to the general public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to guarantee seating.
