Rod Rowley New and Used Vehicle Inventory Director, Miller Automotive operations Rod Rowley has over 24 years of experience in the automotive industry, with 21 of those years at the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. He currently works with the dealerships, overseeing vehicle inventories. Larger Than Life Arena Experience The new video display system has brought a supersized visual experience to live sports and entertainment events at EnergySolutions Arena resulting in a significantly enhanced fan experience. The new center court high-definition video boards are seven times larger than their predecessors. Other digital enhancements include upper deck cornerboards with video and statistics, two light rings between the upper and lower bowls, a space ring above the main system, a portal signage system and court-level kickplates. Overall, the new video system is comprised of more than 9,900 square feet of displays and 33 million individual LEDs. “We believe these new audio and video enhancements are a game changer when it comes to the overall in-arena experience,” said Steve Miller, president of Miller Sports Properties. “We are thrilled to bring an upgrade of this magnitude that will benefit our fans, players and corporate partners.” WS Rod was born and raised in Milford, Utah. He began working for the Miller organization in 1985 as a salesperson for what was then Landmark Chevrolet. In his time with the group, he has held a variety of positions, including: finance manager, sales manager, used car manager, and general sales manager. He also served as general manager of LHM Oldsmobile Cadillac Subaru from 1997 to 2001, LHM Chevrolet Murray from 2001 to 2009, LHM Volkswagen Avondale (2009), LHM Dodge Peoria (2010) and LHM Chevy Provo from 2012 to 2013. Rod has served as president of the Rocky Mountain Chevrolet Dealers Association. He is also a graduate of Miller Business Academy. In his free time, Rod enjoys family gatherings and playing golf. He is also an avid Boston Red Sox fan. “The Miller group is truly one of the greatest automotive groups in the country. He resides in Draper, Utah. Shawn Waters Vice President of Information Technology, Miller management corporation Shawn Waters has worked in the Information Technology (IT) department for the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies for more than 17 years. In this time, he has held many technical positions, such as help desk, network administrator and director of IT. In his current position, he is responsible for IT related matters at Miller Management Corporation. Shawn was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. He attended Salt Lake Community College in 1990-91 and later went on to pursue certifications in Novell (MCNI, MCNE) and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). He obtained his instructor license and taught the Novell Certification track at Salt Lake Community College from 1997-2000. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys going to movies with his family, camping, tennis and playing European board games with friends. He also loves watching his kids learn and play. His interests include collecting guitars and trying to play them. When asked about his time working for the group, Shawn said, “I feel privileged to be around such a great organization. I appreciate everything the Miller family does for the community and their employees. I have been involved in almost all the divisions in my time with the group, and the people are truly the best.” Shawn and his wife, Brittany, have a son and daughter and make their home in Riverton, Utah.
