a season of gratitude
As 2013 draws to a close, I find that
I am nearly overwhelmed with a
sense of gratitude. As I have had
the opportunity to get to know
many of you, and collaborate with
those I work with on a daily basis,
I have seen more clearly than ever
what a blessing it is to be part
of the Larry H. Miller Group of
Companies.
I am thankful
for the
privilege of leading this organization
and working with its more than 10,000
employees to carry on what my
parents started nearly 35 years ago.
I am thankful for the trust our
customers, fans, lenders and
manufacturers have in us, and for
the relationships we have with them.
Those relationships are the foundation
of our company, and are among the
things I’m most proud of.

I am thankful for family and friends who show genuine
care and concern for one another. I have learned that it is
important to make every second count
and live life with no regrets. One never
knows when the opportunity will be
lost to share thoughts or spend time
with loved ones. I was never able to
experience a segment of Expeditions 7
with my brother, Roger, and now that
opportunity is lost forever. I am thankful
for the impact he had on my life. He
taught me patience and optimism no
matter how large the adversity.
