Seer Group Annie Stonehocker (MFRE), Lindsey Brandol (MAO), Sheila Kongsayasane (MMC) For the fourth consecutive year, the Larry H. Miller Group and its employees paid tribute to the late Larry H. Miller by holding a company-wide day of service on April 26 as a way of giving back to the communities where business is conducted. The day also serves to honor the many contributions Miller made throughout his life. Born on April 26, 1944, Miller was known for his many philanthropic and charitable endeavors. He felt strongly about improving the communities where his companies did business and often quoted the phrase, “Go about doing good until there is too much good in the world.” The Miller family initiated the corporate day of service in 2010 to correspond with his birthday and to continue his legacy of giving. “Helping the community was a high priority to my father, and it’s something he wanted all of us to remember,” shared Greg Miller. “I can’t think of a better way to honor his memory than for our employees to carry on his tradition of giving back.” This year, over 1,100 LHM employees participated in one of 12 service projects throughout Utah and six additional Western states. Volunteers lent their time at various organizations, such as The Neighborhood House, Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Clubs, schools, community centers, and other agencies. Tasks included cleaning, painting, organizing, delivering supplies, helping with yard care and more. “It’s a great opportunity for all of us to get out into our local communities and serve,” shared Monica Luna from LHM American Toyota in Albuquerque, New Mexico. “I am glad our company cares enough to make time to do it.” WS tt Weist (PFL), Corbin UCO), Maria Castellon (UCO) Don Stirling with the elderly care center at The Neighborhood House
