EnergySolutions Arena was alive with activity the
night of March 14 as Utah Jazz coaches, players
and Larry H. Miller Group employees helped
raise contributions at Leapin’ Leaners & Low
Tops, an annual fundraiser benefiting Larry H.
Miller Charities. This year’s gala was a resounding
success, netting approximately $155,000 in
charitable funds, an all-time record for the event.
Staff from Jazz community relations,
EnergySolutions Arena, All-Star Catering and Miller
Management Corporation worked for months to
prepare for the gala, with 85 employees from the
LHM Group providing volunteer assistance the
night of the fundraiser.
Jazz basketball players and coaching staff
mingled with guests throughout the evening,
engaging in a variety of fun-filled activities. An
array of autographed sports memorabilia and
other exciting items were auctioned off, as well.
Those in attendance sported dressy attire, but
everyone wore the event’s signature footwear –
gym shoes! WS

Rourk Kemp, chief financial officer, will manage the four regional
accounting support specialists; Mary Marcelli (AZ); TBD (CO/NM);
Lori Hawkins (UT/OR); Monica Alvera (UT/ID/WA).
Rod Rowley has been promoted to new and used inventory
director, and Paul Nygaard has been promoted to senior vice
president of marketing. WS

JARRED BLACK is the new store manager of LHM Volkswagen in

JOHNNY MARTINEZ is now store manager of LHM Chrysler Jeep in
Avondale, Ariz.
DAN DIEDRICH is the new general manager of LHM Volkswagen in
Tucson, Ariz.
JASON HAWKS is now store manager of LHM Chevrolet in Provo, Utah.
