1. After a fun Salt Lake City Stars game, representatives from NeighborWorks
took to the court to receive a generous donation from LHM Dealerships on
behalf of LHM Charities.. 4. Thurl Bailey, former NBA player, member of the Utah Jazz broadcast team, and
father of Marquette University sophomore Brendan Bailey, sang the national
anthem before Marquette’s game against Creighton.
2. Five.12 Foundation, a nonprofit in Utah County, was excited to receive a
donation from LHM Chevrolet Provo to help keep paying it forward to anyone
in need, like supplying bags of food to elementary school students who might
go hungry on weekends. 5. To kick off celebrating Women’s History Month throughout March, Jazz
broadcaster Kristen Kenney and other local female business and community
leaders shared a message with 300 female high school students at the Her
Time to Lead seminar.
3. Larry H. Miller Charities donated funds for Crimson View Elementary to help
increase student engagement. 6. Gail Miller opened the second day of the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit, calling
the state’s tech influencers and leaders “pioneers.”
