Miller Motorsports Park has an exciting new plan in place that parallels other recent changes in structure at the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. The track is being rebranded as Miller Performance, which includes Miller Motorsports Park, the Yamaha Champions Riding School, the Ford Racing School and the newly-formed Oneiro, an event-management company.
The mission of Miller Performance is to serve the automotive and motorsports industries by providing fun, unique and educational experiences without equal.
“ The creation of Miller Performance will not only help us to maximize the resources we have at Miller Motorsports Park,” said John Larson, General Manager of Miller Performance,“ but it also allows us to expand our horizons to conduct schools and corporate events at offsite locations.
“ We’ re particularly excited about the creation of Oneiro,” he continued.“ Based on the experience we have garnered since the track’ s opening in 2006, along with the combined expertise of our staff, Oneiro is able to offer a comprehensive portfolio of skills to assist our clients with their event-management needs.”
Services offered by Oneiro include everything from product launches, product testing, race series management and facility management to various forms of driving training and certification.
Miller Motorsports Park contains a state-of-the-art road racing track, world-class karting facility, an amazing museum and outstanding meeting facilities, with amenities and customer service that guests have come to expect from venues throughout Miller Sports Properties.
With the advent of the Ford Racing School and Yamaha Champions Riding School, Miller Motorsports Park expanded its exposure and customer base to a national level. Demand for Yamaha Champions Riding School classes has been so great that the school has had to book track time at offsite facilities to accommodate the demand.
In addition, recent years have seen a large upswing in demand for manufacturer and corporate events. Miller Motorsports Park has gained a stellar reputation creating customized events for such clients as Ford Motor Company, BFGoodrich, Michelin, Nitto Tires, Navistar and many more.
“ With this restructuring and refocusing of our organization,” concluded Larson,“ we are poised to grow our business well beyond the 511 acres we started with in 2006. We think the future of Miller Performance looks extremely bright.” WS
