May 10 , 2017 : LHM Volkswagen Avondale hosted a live reveal of the highly-anticipated 2018 Volkswagen Atlas . The new seven-passenger midsize SUV is the largest vehicle the automotive company has sold in the U . S .

The Larry H . Miller Tour of Utah is a men ’ s professional cycling stage race with riders from all over the world . These amazing athletes race up and down mountains and through deserts and cities .
You can get super close to the action , so go out and cheer them on when they race through your town!

May 10 , 2017 : LHM Tour of Utah collaborated with University of Utah Health to promote healthy lifestyles for children through the “ Sprint to the Finish Activity Book .” The 10 local organizing committees for Tour of Utah received a portion of the 45,000 copies to distribute to elementary schools during National Bike Month in May .
May 18 , 2017 : The NBA announced that Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was named to the 2016-17 All-NBA Second Team , marking the first selection of his career . Gobert is the first Jazz player since 2009-10 to be named to an All-NBA Team .
June 2 , 2017 : The Utah Jazz , with support from Larry H . Miller Charities , introduced NBA Math Hoops into 15 schools and nonprofits in the Salt Lake Valley this past school year . The board game helped more than 500 youth learn math . In April , the team held a regional tournament at Vivint Smart Home Arena for all participants . Firstplace winner 12-year-old Fernando Rodriguez went on to participate in the national competition at Stanford University .
June 7 , 2017 : The Utah Jazz announced that former Jazzman , Bryon Russell , was taking part in this year ’ s annual Junior Jazz road trip , which began Monday , June 12 . The tour ’ s first week traveled more than 1,500 miles to 17 cities in three states and reached more than 1,000 boys and girls . The final two weeks of clinics will take place in late July / early August .
June 13 , 2017 : LHM Dodge Ram Peoria and LHM Chrysler Jeep Avondale , in partnership with four West Valley fire departments , are hosting Relief From the Heat , a community water drive to collect water bottles for the homeless . The drive takes place from June 13 through August 31 .
June 20 , 2017 : The NBA and Gatorade announced that the NBA Development League ( NBA D-League ), the NBA ’ s minor league , is now off icially the NBA G League . Beginning with the 2017-18 season , the NBA G League will feature 26 teams , including the Salt Lake City Stars . The Utah Jazz will continue as the parent club of the SLC Stars . This fall , NBA teams can sign two players that can be with their NBA parent team for up to 45 days , spending most of the season in the NBA G League .
June 26 , 2017 : The NBA announced that Utah Jazz center , Rudy Gobert , was named to the 2016 – 17 NBA All-Defensive First Team , marking the first selection of his career . He was also a finalist for both NBA Defensive Player of the Year and Most Improved Player .
June 29 , 2017 : The Arizona Republic and azcentral . com announced that LHM Dodge Ram Avondale earned a spot on the list of the “ 2017 Top Companies to Work for in Arizona .” The dealership is the only new car retailer to be recognized on the list for the second consecutive year .
July 3 , 2017 : W . Steve Albrecht , a member of the LHM Group ’ s board of directors, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Corporate Directors in partnership with Utah Business Magazine ’ s 2017 Outstanding Directors Awards .
July 13 , 2017 : Larry H . Miller Downtown Toyota Spokane hosted a grand opening event to celebrate the recent completion of the newly rebuilt 44,845-square-foot dealership . The Toyota dealership , which sits on two acres , is nearly 10,000 square feet larger after swapping locations with the group ’ s Honda store .
