April 30, 2015 – The Salt Lake Bees teamed up with KTUB
Juan 1600 AM to carry a Spanish-language radio broadcast
of select Bees games for the first time. KTUB will broadcast
the 10 remaining Monday night home games from Smith’s
Ballpark, beginning on May 4 and running through Aug. 31.
May 7, 2015 – Scott Bates, president of Miller Family Real
Estate, announced the appointment of Kim Casaday as
director of finance and the promotion of Brad Holmes to
director of construction.
May 8, 2015 – The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies
announced it will not renew its lease with Tooele County and
will cease operation of Miller Motorsports Park at the end of
the racing season on October 31, 2015.
May 15, 2015 – Smith’s Ballpark was recognized as a top
Minor League ballpark by Baseball America. The home of
the Salt Lake Bees ranked 20th out of more than 150 Minor
League stadiums in the magazine’s survey of Minor League
general managers, radio announcers and league observers.
May 26, 2015 – Larry H. Miller Dealerships announced the
launch of LHM Fast Pass, an integrated online to in-store
solution to purchasing or leasing a new or used vehicle. LHM
Fast Pass allows customers the opportunity to complete
nearly all of the car buying process online.
May 28, 2015 – Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise has been named
one of the best places to work for millennial employees
in America as announced by The Center for Generational
Kinetics. The dealership was also named a “Best Dealership to
Work For” by Automotive News for 2014.
May 29, 2015 – The Utah Jazz announced that long-time
team physicians, Dr. Lyle Mason and Dr. Russell Shields,
have been jointly selected as the 2015 NBA Physicians of the
Year, as voted on by members of the NBA Athletic Trainers
Association.
June 1, 2015 – For the ninth consecutive year, the Salt Lake
Bees have ranked in the top 25 of Minor League Baseball
merchandise sales.
June 1, 2015 – Rally Motor Credit joined Prestige as a whollyowned subsidiary.
June 8, 2015 – Utah Jazz forward Jeremy Evans and guard
Elijah Millsap participated in this summer’s annual Junior Jazz
road trip, traveling more than 3,000 miles to 32 cities in three
states as more than 1,500 boys and girls were reached.
June 15, 2015 – The Utah Jazz announced that KJZZ-TV and
The Zone Sports Network will broadcast Jazz games live
at the team’s summer league, and UtahJazz.com will offer
comprehensive coverage of all event activities. NBA TV will
rebroadcast all games at a later date.
June 24, 2015 – The Utah Jazz named Brian Zettler as the
fourth head athletic trainer in franchise history. Nick Asay
was promoted to assistant trainer and Adam Klauke was
named team equipment manager.
June 25, 2015 – The Utah Jazz hosted a 2015 NBA Draft party
at EnergySolutions Arena. The draft was aired by ESPN from
the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and Jazz fans
watched the broadcast together at the arena.
June 25, 2015 – The Utah Jazz announced that Jeff
Watkinson was hired as assistant coach/integrated player
development and Zach Guthrie as manager of basketball
strategy/technology.
June 30, 2015 – Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment
announced the appointment of Nate Randle as senior vice
president of marketing and Bart Sharp as vice president of
marketing services.
