Announcements
May 15, 2018: Larry H. Miller Dealerships
won a Best of State award in the Merchandising
and Consumer Services New Auto Dealer
category for 2018. The annual Best of State
awards recognize outstanding individuals,
organizations, and businesses in Utah that
have achieved overall excellence in their field,
developed innovative or creative approaches,
and improved the quality of life in their
community and state.
May 2018: LHM Dealerships divested
Larry H. Miller Nissan Southwest (NSW) in
Littleton, Colorado, and Larry H. Miller Hyundai
Spokane (SHY) in Spokane, Washington. New
to the Group is Larry H. Miller Used Car
Supermarket 90th (UCN) in the former Larry
H. Miller Ford Lincoln Sandy building on 200
West, 9000 South, in Sandy, Utah.
May 2018: Ephraim
Williams has been
named General Sales
Manager for the
newly opened Larry
H. Miller Used Car
Supermarket 90th
(UCN). He joined
the Group in 2002 and most recently served as
general sales manager at Larry H. Miller Used
Car Supermarket Murray (UCM).
May 2018: Stephan
Fronce has been
promoted to General
Sales Manager at
Larry H. Miller Used
Car Supermarket
Murray. He joined
the group in February
2006 as a salesperson and previously
served as sales manager at UCM.
May 2018: Lance
Scott was named the
new Store Manager
at Larry H. Miller
Chrysler Jeep Dodge
Ram Provo (PCD).
Lance joined the group
in 2001. He has served
as a general sales manager at several dealerships,
including most recently at PCD.
June 15, 2018: LHM Charities recently awarded
$10,000 to the Live Your Dream Foundation, and
employees from Megaplex Theatres presented
the grant. Funding will provide single mothers in
Utah with educational scholarships.
July 2, 2018: LHMSE
announced that Chris
Baum was promoted to
Executive Vice President,
Utah Jazz Sales &
Marketing. Executive
Vice President Don
Stirling will continue to
oversee the operational and functional results of
Utah Jazz Public and Community Relations, the
Salt Lake City Stars, LHMSE special projects,
and will now also have leadership oversight of
Utah Jazz Gaming. The following promotions
were also announced: Chris Barney as Senior
Vice President, Ticketing; Aaron Cook as Senior
Vice President, Technology; Ian McDonald as
Senior Vice President, Finance; Michelle Smith
as Senior Vice President, People & Culture; Ted
Roberts as Senior Vice President, Corporate
Partnerships.
July 2, 2018: The first Utah Jazz 3-on-3
Tournament was held as part of festivities at the
Utah Jazz Summer League. With 34 divisions,
the tournament off ered opportunities for players
of all ages and skill levels to compete.
July 6, 2018: The Tour of Utah announced
that a kickoff party will be held at the Ashton
Family Greenshow Commons on the campus
of Southern Utah University (SUU) on August 4,
2018. SUU is located in Cedar City, a returning
host city that will host Stage 1 on August 7.
July 6, 2018: Salt Lake Bees manager Keith
Johnson was named Third Base Coach for the
United States Team at the 2018 All-Star Futures
Game in Washington D.C. The Futures Game is
part of MLB All-Star Sunday featuring the top
Minor League prospects from all levels in a U.S.
vs. World Team format.
