2018 Sales Awards Honoring Automotive’s Top Performers Although there are a lot of different companies that make up the LHM Group, pretty much everything that we do comes down to selling products, particularly vehicles, to customers. It’s the fuel that drives our growth and expansion and keeps us in business. Needless to say, we have a lot of automotive salespeople within the group, and together they were responsible for a stellar year in 2018. To put it in perspective, here are some relevant facts: 120,000 vehicles sold 1.7 million service tickets 2 million parts tickets Together, those are incredible numbers, a testament to the efforts of the sales teams across the company as a whole. As a celebration of the year’s successes, Gail Miller and Dean Fitzpatrick, president of LHM Dealerships, hosted the annual Sales Awards for the Group’s top salespeople. At the event, Gail was able to sum up her feelings on the year’s efforts, “I think what you’ve accomplished this year is just short of incredible. Maybe it is incredible in a lot of ways. But I want you to understand that what you top salesmen are doing is really important for those who are watching you. It’s important for those who are trying to learn how to do what you do. You are the leaders and the teachers, and you’re the ones that make good things happen, and you’re the ones that those following want to be like. Thank you for what you do, and how you do it, and the consistency with which you do it.” “So, as we finish 2018 strong, let’s make sure we go about giving more than our fair share in 2019.” Dean Fitzpatrick President, LHM Dealerships It was wonderful to honor those who work hard to push the Group forward, but as always, we are not content to rest on our laurels. We continue looking to the future. As Dean put it, “As we look at 2019, things look pretty darn good when you look at it. The economy’s strong, overall, which bodes well for us. It really does. Banks are buying deals, employment’s strong, and that looks like it’ll continue on into the new year. Inventory levels are in great shape, and overall I think people are feeling pretty confident about what’s going on in the economy, and so that bodes well for automobile sales. So, as we finish 2018 strong, let’s make sure we go about giving more than our fair share in 2019.” ◆ 4 LHM Winning Spirit January/February 2019
