October 19: During the month of October, LHM Dealerships collected cold weather items for those in need in the Spokane area and invited the public to contribute at local Spokane dealerships.
October 27: The Utah Jazz, Larry H. Miller Charities, and Midvale City unveiled a new community basketball court— the 15th Jazz court built along the Wasatch Front— at Bingham Junction Park.
October 28: Utah Jazz players Alec Burks, Boris Diaw, Danté Exum, Rudy Gobert, Gordon Hayward, Joe Ingles, and Trey Lyles helped local youth and nonprofit organizations attend Jazz games by purchasing and donating a block of 60 tickets each to every 2016 – 17 home game.
October 31: Prestige Financial announced it has completed its 15th rated-term securitization, issuing $ 343,600,000 in securities backed by $ 369,461,095 in automobile installment receivables.
November 1: During the University of Arizona’ s homecoming game, Larry H. Miller Dealerships presented an $ 8,000 donation to the Tucson Police Officers Association Charitable Foundation in support of the Kids and Cops Christmas program.
November 11: Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment donated 1,000 winter jackets and Utah Jazz beanie hats to students at 17 elementary, middle, and high schools as part of the annual NBA Cares Season of Giving.
November 14: Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise announced its participation in the 2016 Share the Love program and added Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho to its donation list.
November 16: The Utah Anti-Bullying Coalition presented its statewide educational and motivational campaign at an assembly for nearly 10,000 high school students at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
November 29: The Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union announced the continuation of the Pass It Along program, enabling fans to nominate local charitable groups. Five charities will receive $ 5,000 each.
November 30: The Utah Jazz Bear hosted three Bear Hugs for Kids holiday shopping events in conjunction with Firemen & Friends for Kids. The program allowed more than 750 low-income or atrisk children the opportunity to purchase presents for themselves and their families.
December 8: Gail Miller and the board of directors for the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies announced that Steve Miller had been elected as vice chairman of the board of directors.
December 12: The Larry H. Miller Family hosted the 32nd Annual Christmas Carole Sing-Along at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
December 12: The Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union announced Head Start as this season’ s second Pass It Along award recipient.
December 15: Utah Jazz and Salt Lake City Stars players and coaches, as well as America First Jazz Dancers, Jazz Bear, and members of the Wheelin’ Jazz, visited Primary Children’ s Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children— Salt Lake City.
Miller Automotive Operations announced several promotions this quarter, including:
• Brandon Moore named general manager of Larry H. Miller Used Car Supermarket Boise.
• AJ Davey named store manager of Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Tucson.
• Dino DiGregario named regional F & I specialist for Colorado / New Mexico( MAO).
• Arnold Tavizon named regional F & I specialist for Arizona / California( MAO).
• JC Escobar named regional variable specialist for Colorado / New Mexico( MAO).
• Chuck Beckman named market trainer for Arizona / California( MAO).
January 3: Julie Davis joined the MAO team as the new dedicated customer relations specialist​.
January 3: Larry H. Miller Super Ford General Manager / Partner Tony Schnurr announced his retirement after 21 years with the company.
