Dennis Haslam
Larry H. Miller Board of Directors
Dennis Haslam rejoins the Larry H. Miller Management Company as a member
of its new board of directors. He served previously as president of the Utah Jazz
from 1997-2007, as well as president of Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment,
where he led the senior management team responsible for overseeing the Utah
Jazz, Salt Lake Bees, Delta Center (now Vivant Smart Home Arena), KJZZ-TV,
All-Star Catering, Fanzz Sports stores and LHM Advertising (now Saxton Horne
Communications). He also had oversight of operations at Jordan Commons and
the Megaplex Theatres.
Dennis was previously with the law firm of Winder & Haslam, which he cofounded in 1983. His expertise is in sports and entertainment law and commercial
transactions. A past chair of the Utah Bar Foundation and past president of the
Utah State Bar, Dennis has also served on the Utah Judicial Council and the Utah
Sports Authority—builder of several 2002 Olympic Winter Games venues. He has
also served on the board of governors of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dennis is owner of DH Consulting & Investments, LLC, a company which provides business and sports management
consulting services. He and his wife, Deborah, founded Grace Carter Design which developed designer galoshes for
women and men. Deborah has served on the board of directors of the Guadalupe School for over ten years.
A native of Salt Lake City, Dennis graduate
