Ed Motzkin began working as the general
manager of Tucson Dodge in 2005. He was
given the opportunity to remain in that position
when the dealership was purchased and
renamed Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson
in April of 2013. As general manager, Ed is
responsible for all store operations, as well
as the success of the employees and overall
experience and satisfaction of his customers.
Ed was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He began his career in the
automotive business 32 years ago as a lot attendant, holding many positions
along the way, including salesman, finance manager, and new and used car
manager. Ed was sales manager for a large Nissan store in Phoenix before
ultimately being promoted to the position of general manager.

In his free time, Ed enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His
interests include old muscle cars, music and traveling.
When asked about his time working with the LHM Group, Ed shared, “I feel

Ed and his wife, Debbie, have two children and make their home in Tucson.

Lance Davenport joined the Larry H.
Miller Group of Companies in 2013. He is
responsible for the oversight of safety and
risk management of each of the Group’s
businesses and properties, and assists
with emergency planning, preparedness
and response. He also helps evaluate and
manage risk and loss prevention programs,
as well as facilitates the development and implementation of safety and risk
management strategies and policies.

Prior to joining the group, Lance served as commissioner of the Utah
Department of Public Safety, an appointment made by Utah Governor
Jon Huntsman in January 2009.
Lance was born in Washington and lived in Spokane for much of his youth.
He earned an associate of science degree in law enforcement from Weber
State University in 2001 and graduated cum laude in 2003 with a bachelor’s
degree in criminal justice. Lance is also a 2003 graduate of the FBI National
Academy and a 2010 graduate of the FBI National Executive Institute.
Lance is a recipient of the DPS Public Safety Star and has served on boards
for the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice (2009-2013); the
Utah Safety Council (2009-2013); the Peace Officer Standards and Training
