Larry H. Miller American Toyota Albuquerque was recognized in
Albuquerque the Magazine as ‘Best of the City’ for Best Dealership
Service Department. The residents of Albuquerque and surrounding
areas vote for the ‘best’ companies in different segments. This is the
second year in a row that the dealership has won this accolade.
Sam Wood, a senior human resource representative with Megaplex
Theatres, was chosen as the Utah Boys Track Coach of the Year
for 2013. He coaches at Woods Cross High School. Sam was also
recognized as an Employee of Excellence for Megaplex Theatres.
The team at LHM Toyota Peoria joined together in the spirit of
Christmas to decorate six trees placed around the dealership. Each
employee was asked to make an ornament and there was a table set
up with the necessary supplies. The dealership also had a toy drive
for Toys-for-Tots. Many toys were collected with hopes of fulfilling
Christmas wishes.
The employees of Larry H. Miller Used Car Supermarket Boise
loaded up their collection for the Toys for Tots and Coats for Kids
drive. UCB collected more items than any of the other Idaho stores.
Troy Bullard, general manager at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep
Dodge Ram Riverdale, was able to deliver a check to Edd Bridge of
the Ogden City Recreation department. The city is going to use the
funds for the new basketball court in an ideal location for Ogden
City kids. It will be the only non-concrete court in the city.
The employees of Larry H. Miller Toyota Albuquerque took a moment
to pose for a photo and to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
LHM Charities gave a $5,000 donation to provide uniforms for three
collision center programs in the state of Utah. Mark Kirk (far left) and
Pat Nicoles (far right) with Miller Automotive Operations visited each
of the schools to present the uniforms. The program has been a great
resource for the group to hire entry-level technicians for the Utah
Larry H. Miller Collision Centers.
Steve Doersam (center), general manager of Larry H. Miller Toyota
Boulder, presented a check on behalf of LHM Charities, to The Joshua
School and the Autisim Society of Boulder County. John Sheldon
(green jacket) and Ingrid Julyk (far right), along with friends and
parents of children benefiting from the work of the two organizations,
were on hand to accept the $26,000 donation.
Reality TV visited EnergySolutions Arena during a recent Utah Jazz
game. Contestant Mark Scott competed with the dunk team for a
chance to win a “Dream Job” in professional sports – a $150,000 a year
position in New York with the NBA.
Trey Burke (front center) was introduced to his North Carolina fan club
when the Utah Jazz played on the road at the Charlotte Bobcats.
