Laser Distance Measure When planning which machine to use , how high you need to go and how far you may have to boom out are major factors . Winner Access have a range of simple to use , hand held laser distance measures that will accurately measure how far up and out you need to reach to complete your job .
Anemometer
All access platforms have a manufacturers recommended wind tolerance . Always check the recommended wind speed for the machine you are using . This can be found in the operators manual and on stickers on the machine . Remember that wind can increase by as much as 50 % at 20 metres above ground level . The only reliable method for checking is by a hand-held wind meter ( or anemometer ). Winner Access have a range of anemometers available to purchase to aid in keeping you safe whilst working at height .
Beaufort Scale Always refer to the operators manual for the machine ’ s maximum safe wind speed usage .
