Blush and Bronze Once you have discovered the best concealer and foundation for you, we may now move onto the blush and bronzer. A quick way to knock out options is to cancel out shimmers. With all the photos that will be taken during prom a shimmer isn’t the wisest choice. The flash will make that area seem shiny and it will reflect the light like a mirror. If you have darker skin a bold pink or soft rose would look beautiful. If you have medium to light skin a soft rose or peach will not seem too bold or “clowny”. For the bronzer you will want to go a shade or two darker. Darker skin would look best with a nice gold-bronze. Eyes are the Windows to the Soul Depending on the colors of your dress will usually determine which eye shadows will be used for your eyes and what style of shadow. Again, shimmers aren't the best choice because of the flash from cameras. Smokey eyes are typically the more preferred choice. Smokey eyes do not have to incorporate black into them. For example; If you wanted soft warm tones such as gold's and reds, browns are a good substitution, any darker color will suffice. After the eyes are done you then go on to putting on eyeliners and mascaras, those are personal preferences. Eyebrows are last for the eye area. You can use a brow pencil or powder or both. Colors range from reds, blondes, or browns.
