1. Who inspired you to be a model? Tyra Banks, of course. She is a true role model, and I have looked up to her since I was a child.
2. Who ' s your model? My favorite model is none other than former supermodel Tyra Banks.
3. How old was you when you starting singing & modeling? I started singing in my church choir at age 7, and aspired to pursue be a singer at age 10, which is when I wrote my first song. I aspired to be a model at age 9, and modeled in amateur fashion shows from ages 12 to 15. I didn ' t begin pursuing a professional career in modeling until December of 2011, when I signed with the agency Drakebook models. So as a professional, I am a beginner. 4. What made you start singing and model? Singing had always been a part of my life. My mother is a wonderful singer and she sang in our church choir. In 5th grade two of my friends from church formed a singing group with me for a little while. I didn ' t become dedicated to it until I met Helen Blondel, my best friend since age 12, who also aspired to be a recording artist. I became interested in modeling when I learned of Tyra Banks at age 9. Since then I had been inspired. 5. If you had a chance to be on American ' s Next Top Model would you? And why? I would, because I love Tyra Banks, I love the show, and it has taught me so much. I believe I could meet every challenge and make at least as a finalist on her show. But I keep in mind that Because I am 5 ' 2, my chances in certain genres of modeling such as high fashion may be slimmer. 6. What ' s your favorite fashion magazine? Teen Vogue and Seventeen magazines, definitely.
3 successful tips for readers on how to be a successful singer & model? Modeling 1. Research the modeling industry and fling out where you think you could be successful. 2. Build a portfolio and gain experience with prints and runway if possible. 3. Look for agencies in your area, but avoid scams that charge large sums of money for training. Singing 1. Get as much experience as possible and train your voice everyday. 2. Copyright ALL of you material before showing your work to recording studios and labels 3. Research the music industry thoroughly to learn the ins and outs of the industry.
