The Salt Lake Bees and Smith’s Ballpark were nominated for a MiLBY
for the best photo in Minor League Baseball in 2014. The photo was
taken by Bees photographer Brent Asay and depicts a packed crowd at
Smith’s Ballpark watching the Bees play during a sunset. It is one of 10
snapshots nominated for best photo.
Aliso Niguel High School senior Michael Marino, son of Barbara
Marino, fleet/internet director at Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona, has
verbally committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Colorado
Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. Congratulations!
Bryan Detweiller, director of major events at MMP, was hired this
summer as the new boys basketball coach at Grantsville High School.

LHM Charities in Tucson made a $5,000 donation to Special Olympics
of Arizona. The gift will help fund the young athletes program for
