PLACING OF FLOWERS
Brendan & Gerard Thomas
Cel : In her dying Win has become a new creation . With love and reverence , we bring these flowers , fruit of the earth and symbol of life .
All : May Win be with Christ , raised from the dead , the first fruits of all who have fallen asleep .

OPENING PRAYER ( Please stand )
Cel : Into your hands , O Lord , we humbly entrust our sister Win . In this life you embraced her with your tender love ; deliver her now from every evil and bid her enter eternal rest . The old order has passed away : welcome her then into paradise , where there will be no sorrow , no weeping nor pain , but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever .
All : Amen .
LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING ( Please be seated ) Andrew Thomas A reading from the second letter of St Paul to Timothy ( 4 : 6‐8 )
The time has come for me to leave this life . I have fought the good faith to the end . I have run the race to the finish . I have kept the faith . All that is to come now is the crown of righteousness reserved for me which the Lord the righteous judge will give to me on that day and not only to me but to all who have longed for his appearing .
This is the word of the Lord All : Thanks be to God .
