(continued on Page 2) 2017 and 2018 Capital Improvement Projects The Aviation Division of the Texas Department of Transportation has released their Capital Improvement Program for the 2017 and 2018 fiscal years. The Airport has re- ceived notice that two projects have been included. In FY7, TxDOT Aviation has pro- grammed a 90% grant for the estimated $1,536,100 cost of a new perimeter fence. The City has earmarked $153,610 in gas well funding for the City’s share. In FY18, an estimated grant of $1,802,400 is included for additional aircraft parking apron in the central and southern areas of the Airport.
