RSAT Update
The Runway Safety Action Team meeting was held July 18, 2019. Notes from the meeting can be found at
RSAT meeting 7-18-19.
Clinton Tuggle, the ATCT manager, reminded pilots to always do the following:
• Read back hold short instructions, and insure that the controllers hear the read back.
• Ask the controller to repeat or further explain the instruction, if you do not understand instructions.
Special Events Schedule
AT&T Stadium events typically increase airport operations, as visitors come in to attend.
Extended ATCT hours are expected for those events in bold. If interest is strong, the Tower is generally open for five
hours from the start of the evening events. Airport and ATCT staff also analyze departure patterns from similar games
in prior years before making a decision.
