Construc on Updates
Opera ons Maintenance Building and Public Restroom
Construc on was recently completed on the Opera ons Maintenance Storage building. This 4,000
square foot storage facility houses all airport maintenance equipment. The Airport will no longer store
equipment and supplies in a T-hangar. The hangar previously used has been leased for aircra storage.
As part of the construc on, a public restroom was added on the south end of the building, for tenant
convenience. Please call Airport Opera ons at 817-459-5571 if the restroom needs a en on.
South Taxilane Reconstruc on Project—Phase 4 tenta ve start date 7/23/18
Phase 3 of the South Taxilane Reconstruc on Project is nearing comple on. Concrete placement and
saw cu ng are expected to be finished by midday on Friday, July 20th, and we expect all work to be
finished on Phase 3 by Saturday, July 21, 2018.
If everything goes as scheduled, Phase 4 will begin Monday, July 23, 2018. At that me, it will be neces-
sary to switch the alternate rou ng around the South T-hangars, and to close the self-service unit. An
addi onal update and map will be sent out when the date is confirmed.
The en re project should be completed by mid-September. Trent Ballard, Assistant Airport Manager,
will con nue to send regular updates and keep everyone apprised of the project status.
