Issue 10 – June 2017 Airport Improvements—Lobby A/V System Recent improvements to the Airport include a new Audio Visual System in the lobby of the terminal building. The lobby is frequently used by City officials for town hall meetings, as well as Aviation groups and Homeowner’s Associ- ations meetings. The new 90” screen is 60% bigger than its predecessor. An audio/visual package has also been installed which will allow presentations to be wirelessly projected from a connected laptop. The sound system includes two large speakers designed for use in high-traffic areas. Wireless microphones are included, to ensure everyone can hear and be heard. Equipment Storage Facility / Public Restroom Construction Update Demolition of two hangar rows has left the Airport without proper storage for its mowing and snow and ice control equipment. The City Council approved $400,000 for construction of an equipment storage facility and a public restroom in the 2017 Capital Budget. Building design is underway, and the project schedule is shown below. Office Space Available in the Airport Terminal Building We have an office suite in the terminal building available for immediate lease: Suite #204 is located on the second floor of the Terminal Building. This L-shaped suite is approximately 741 square feet and comprised of two rooms. The second space could be used as a separate file/copy room or work area, or possibly a small conference room. Amenities include Public WiFi, 24/7 security, ample parking, and use of the executive conference room, as available.
