DOMAINE EVREMOND
The new Domaine Evremond winery opened in Chilham, Kent, in September 2024. Our first sparkling wine, Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée Edition I was released in April 2025, along with the opening of the cellar door.
This exciting journey began in 2015 when two close friends, Patrick McGrath MW and Pierre- Emmanuel Taittinger, agreed that they would establish a new English Sparkling Wine estate. Since then, the project has evolved; Domaine Evremond has grown from an idea, to a plot of land, to flourishing vineyards and now a dedicated winery, nestled among the vines of the estate that produces certified quality English Sparkling Wine.

Chef de Cave Alexandre Ponnavoy and Vineyard Director Christelle Rinville of the Taittinger team both work closely with the UK viticulture team, Mark Gaskain and Jason Streatfield, who run the day-to-day vineyard operations.

Charles de Saint Évremond was a French soldier, poet, essayist, literary critic and known hedonist. It is widely thought that he brought the sparkling wines of Champagne to the UK, where they were welcomed with open arms.
WHERE WE ARE Based just outside the archetypal village of Chilham and the original site of Stone Stile Farm’ s apple and pear orchards, the site was chosen for its perfect combination of deep, freedraining chalk soils, south-facing slopes and the ideal altitude some 50m- 90m above sea level.
OUR WINERY Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the winery, along with the cellar door, is located at the heart of the estate. Built with sustainability at the fore, the majority of the
