WESTWELL
WINES
Hello from Westwell Wines. We’ re a small, family-run estate winery making delicious, drinkable wines that celebrate the individuality of our beautiful Kent terroir.
Located beneath the Pilgrims Way on the North Downs, our vines thrive on flint and sandy silt-loam soils over chalk bedrock. Known for our experimental winemaking, visual identity and vibrant community events, we make a diverse range of wines, from traditional method sparklers to pét-nats, skin-contact wines, amphora-aged varieties and unique collaborations with local brewers. We grow five different varieties: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, a little Regent, and our signature grape, Ortega. For us, making wine in England is about just that- English wine. We are always working to celebrate Kent’ s unique terroir in the wines that we make.
We minimise intervention, using wild yeasts and small-scale onsite production to ensure quality at every stage from grape to glass. Winemaker Adrian Pike has earned a reputation as one of England’ s most exciting and innovative producers.
That creativity is at the heart of Westwell. Adrian’ s wife, Galia, brings her artistic vision to every aspect of our branding, from intricately detailed wine labels to striking large-scale oil paintings in the cellar door. Her work, influenced by the land and the couple’ s background in the music industry, embodies the vineyard’ s independent spirit.
Sustainability is key to our future. We believe small actions make a big impact, from working with local businesses and composting to repurposing waste creatively. Collaborations with brewers, glassmakers and local skincare brand Pelegrims- who use our vine sap and grape skins in their
