THE SPIRIT OF THE SPORT The estate features a stunning tasting room overlooking almost the entire vineyard; it is this impressive vista, combined with a deep connection to horse racing, that inspired their Wine Garden of England name: The Winning View.
Established in 2016 by renowned racehorse owner Susannah Ricci, the vineyard’ s equine heritage is central to its charm. Visitors are greeted by a striking pink-andgreen spotted horse statue- a joyful nod to Susannah’ s iconic racing silks that have graced winner’ s enclosures at legendary meets from Cheltenham and Royal Ascot to Punchestown and Leopardstown. This‘ winner’ s circle’ energy runs through the brand, from the vibrant labels to wine names like On the Nod. It is a stylish, premium experience, but one delivered entirely without pretension.
THE PERFECT VITICULTURAL RECIPE FOR EXCEPTIONAL WINES While the brand is playful, the science is world class. The land offers a‘ perfect recipe’ for vines: frost-free south-facing slopes, free-draining green sand and chunks of ragstone that retain the day’ s heat. Master of Wine Stephen Skelton famously called Yotes Court“ the best site I have planted in 45 years”. To honour such a site, the estate adopts a precise and innovative approach to viticulture, ensuring the land’ s unique geology is expressed in a range of still and sparkling wines created with minimum intervention.
