we are one-degree celsius cooler than most other vineyards in the south east of England giving us a long cool summer . Our vines flourish in this longer growing season , producing fruit that has the perfect balance of natural sweetness and acidity . And it is only this fruit that we use in the making of our English sparkling wine .
We are proud to be the only English wine estate to have won a gold medal for five consecutive vintages in the World Championships of Champagne and Sparkling Wine , a unique achievement for an English wine brand .
In 2021 we won the Best English Sparkling Wine Trophy in the International Wine Challenge and Best in Show in the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards , recognising Squerryes in the top 50 wines in the world .
