GET
FENESTRATED!
SYDNEY 2016
F
ollowing on from the success of
our Industry Showcase held in
Gabbett’s Melbourne office, the first
GET FENESTRATED! Exhibition was held at
our Sydney showroom in March.
Once again there was great representation
from industry partners including:
• Capral Aluminium
• Alspec Aluminium
• Soft Tech
• Orgadata
• Australian Window Association
• Leuco Tooling
Over 60 visitors to the two day exhibition
took the opportunity to see the latest
machinery and software on display. The
lucky door prize of a Weber BBQ was kindly
donated by Capral Aluminium.
“Another great event focusing on the future
of Aluminium Window & Door Automated
fabrication in Australia. Fantastic to see
so many fabricators attending and getting
involved.”
Matthew Finnie
National Manager Residential Systems
Capral Limited
On display was Gabbett Machinery’s FOM
Industrie range of machinery and equipment,
including the Dali 40 CNC machine, Blitz
Alva 500 double head saw, Panda 400 up
cut saw, Sika Plus drop saw, and a range of
trolleys and equipment to complement a
window and door fabrication factory.
For the first time, there was integration from
the leading software suppliers in Australia
to the TigerStop automated length stops.
In addition to this, on display was the new
TigerTouch software. Connected to the FOM
single head saws, it makes a great addition to
the range of choice fabricators now have to
seamlessly connect to the office.

“Thanks to Gabbett's Get Fenestrated!
2016 exhibition, Alspec were able to
clearly demonstrate to customers in the
window and door industry the next step in
automation, passing job information directly
from estimation software (Logikal and V6) to
automat ed saws and CNC machines.”
Derek Neuschulz
Product Manager
Alspec Aluminium
With demonstrations from Soft Tech on
V6 and Orgadata on Logikal, visitors were
given an up close and personal look at the
latest ‘screen to machine’ software solutions.
Working with local and international
software suppliers, the FOM Industrie and
TigerStop range of machines import data
direct from the office – including all cut lists,
machining codes and barcoding.
“A quality event of this nature has sadly
been lacking in the Australian window and
door industry... until now. Congratulations to
Gabbett for taking the initiative and putting
on an event that created a great deal of
interest. I only see this event growing and
becoming a regular on the industry calendar.
Well done to all involved.”
Rod Hurley
Soft Tech Fabricator Business Manager
Soft Tech Group
Gabbett is committed to their customers
and see success not just in machine sales but
in solutions. Support for the Fenestration
Industry extends through their membership
in the Australian Window Association. As
both are committed to the same goal – ‘to
provide services to the members that will
enhance their business opportunities and
support their efforts to operate successfully
while endorsing compliant, energy efficient,
quality products.’
“What a fantastic initiative by all of the
companies involved in Get Fenestrated!
2016. Without the co-operation of all of the
companies involved, the window industry
could become stagnant. Our future lies with
automation and the communication between
machinery and software. Events like this allow
industry people to see what is possible. Well
done Gabbett for arranging such a terrific
event and to everyone who participated.”
Gary Smith
Marketing & Communications Manager
Australian Window Association
