ussell joined the AWA team as
National Technical Manager in
February this year.
Russell began his career in the window
industry as a window assembler/glazier
for Wideline Windows and Doors,
where he has been employed for the
past 17 years. During this time he has
undertaken various roles, including;
sales, business unit manager, project
management and technical.

Russell has made a substantial
contribution, balancing teamwork with
leadership. Russell demonstrated a
genuine passion and drive to achieve
company goals and objectives whilst
influencing those around
him positively.”

Russell is a competent professional
with a thorough understanding of
fenestration, including compliance,
product design, development and
testing. He has extensive project
management experience and a
thorough understanding of the
regulatory framework affecting the
window industry. Russell’s experience
in R&D means he is familiar with
many of the emerging technologies,
innovations and market influences that
are likely to impact the industry in the
future.
Russell has recently been appointed
the role of National Technical Manager
for the Australian Window Association.
