You can buy our Winchester cover image, St Cross Christmas, direct from her website, and a selection of her greetings cards is also available at Winchester Tourist Information Centre and Cobbs Farm Shop in Headbourne Worthy. Entirely self-taught, Ellie uses her palette knife to build up layers of texture and colour. The gallery has a number of her paintings for sale, including stunning light-filled townscapes of Barcelona, Venice and San Francisco. Orla Kiely is one of the UK’s most successful fashion and lifestyle designers. Her stylised plant-based patterns are instantly recognisable. See her work at The Gallery at Winchester Discovery Centre until the start of January, with key pieces from her home and fashion collections on display as well as archive designs and a ‘handbag wall’. 01962 873603 | www.hants.gov.uk/wdc 01962 860439 | www.bellfineart.co.uk www.winchestermag.com 15
