Winchester Auto Barn has received planning permission which will see the existing garage turned into a true motoring destination .

In September last year , work started on a major redevelopment of the site with foundations being prepared and laid . The exciting part of the project is now underway and as the frame work starts to go up the size and scale of the new buildings will become apparent .
This is all in line with Niall Holden ’ s vision , who owns the business . It will become a destination for car enthusiasts where they will be able to meet and have the opportunity to experience a unique showroom experience with an eclectic mix of classic cars , motoring and musical memorabilia .
Despite so much new building work taking place , Niall is keen to maintain the heritage of the site . The thatched cottage which has been here since the 1700s and is a well-known landmark on the A272 / A30 junction is being completely renovated inside and out including being rethatched and will form an integral part of the new development .
Not content with building an exciting destination and meeting place for car enthusiasts in the Winchester Auto Barn , Niall has just completed another project , Winchester Auto Farm . This local , discreet , secure , high quality storage facility is now fully operational and welcoming customers with all kinds of vehicles .
With both Winchester Auto Barn and Auto Farm the aim is to provide exceptional customer service and a first class experience . Once fully operational , both venues will be offering comfortable and interesting surroundings and facilities for customers and visitors alike .
One final aspect piece of the jigsaw will fall into place once work is completed at Auto Barn . This is the Drivers Club and once facilities are available we will be organising events , and sharing stories and experiences through social media groups and newsletters and building a community for local car enthusiasts .
Throughout all of this work Winchester Auto Barn remains fully open and continues to provide servicing , MOT ’ s and repairs for all makes and models of cars from modern vehicles to rare classics .
