The ship model Formidable was made by prisoners of war incarcerated in Winchester, and purchased by Headmaster Burton in 1760. Following conservation work, it returned to the College in autumn 2019 and is on display in the New Hall foyer. A pamphlet about the model is available from the College and an electronic version is on the Treasury website.
