Dress and Grooming Regulations { 8 / 11 / 06 }
Dress and Grooming Regulations at the college are designed to match the professional standards of business and industry , and to promote safety and the development of self-respect . When students fail to project a professional , business-like image--through the clothes they wear ( clothes must be well coordinated and functional ), how they wear their clothes , how they groom themselves , etc . --they have violated the college ’ s standards .
Rules for dress and grooming apply at all times that students are on campus , perform work for the college , or participate in a college event or activity . Between Morning and Evening Line-up , students must be in either Classroom Dress or Shop Dress . After Hours Dress is permitted after Evening Lineup ( except for Thursday Dinners ), when the student is going to or returning from Restall , arriving to , or leaving campus , or is confined to the dorm .
Classroom Dress { 6 / 10 / 22 } The required dress for classes , between classes , lunch , chapel , to and from shop , and at most college events is :

At Morning Lineup , the student must be able to open the front of a coat to display the other components of Classroom Dress . In colder weather , a sweater or a microfleece is optional under a sports coat , provided it maintains the student ’ s professional appearance . Sweatshirts ( cotton zip ups and “ hoodies ”) are not permitted .
