Withdrawal from Williamson { 6 / 25 / 19 }
A student may dis-enroll and withdraw from Williamson in one of three ways : Officially , Unofficially , or by Dismissal .
• Official Withdrawal : This process requires the student to file a signed Withdrawal Request Form with the Vice President of Student Affairs , citing the reason for the request . After discussing the specifics of the request , the student is required to complete the tasks on the Withdrawal Checklist . This includes the return of all college-owned property , as acknowledged by the signature of various department officials , and the removal of all personal belongings from the campus . Upon completion of these tasks , the Vice President of Student Affairs will finalize the student ’ s request , noting the Official Withdrawal Date , and the student ’ s enrollment is terminated . If , after 10 days of starting the Official Withdrawal Process , the student has not completed the requirements noted above , the student will be Unofficially Withdrawn ( as outlined below ) and will forfeit his enrollment deposit .
• Unofficial Withdrawal : If a student does not attend Williamson for 10 academic days with no attempt to contact the college to excuse his absence or Officially Withdraw , he will be Unofficially Withdrawn . Failure to Officially Withdraw may result in the student being unable to obtain transcripts or enrollment records from Williamson and will result in the forfeiture of his enrollment deposit .
• Dismissal : Dismissal is a disciplinary process resulting in the termination of the student ’ s scholarship . Dismissed students are required to follow the Official Withdrawal Process as listed above in order to be eligible for a refund of their enrollment deposit .
Students who follow the Official Withdrawal Process are required to remove all personal belongings upon final departure . Students who Unofficially Withdraw have two weeks from the start of their non-attendance to remove their personal belongings or the college will dispose of them .
