Wesley Student Center { 6 / 14 / 23 }
The Wesley Student Center is available to students , staff , and residents throughout the academic year and is the primary recreation space on the campus . It houses 3 full-sized multi-use courts , a 1 / 10-mile track , a full weight room , a full cardio room , an E-Sports suite , a lounge , a gaming room with several game system-ready HD TVs , and 3 different classroom spaces . The Wesley Center is open to students when the college is in session :
• M-F from 4:30am-7am and 4:30pm-9:30pm ,
• 10am-6pm on weekends ,
• during unscheduled Assembly and Dean ’ s Hour periods , and inclusive of the lunch hour
Intramural sports vary from year-to-year according to demand and have included street hockey , volleyball , basketball , pickle ball , spike ball , dodge ball , ping pong , horseshoes , and ultimate Frisbee .
Student Government { 6 / 26 / 09 }
A faculty or staff member serves as an advisor for each class . Each class elects four class representatives : President , Vice President , Secretary , and Treasurer . The advisor and class officers may , depending on student performance , dismiss a student from student government , at which point an election may be called to fill the vacancy . Class officers perform a leadership role for their class in advocating for policy and / or regulation revision , proposing class gifts to the college , and representing their fellow students . The class President typically represents his class at several college activities and events .
The I . V . Club { 7 / 17 / 07 }
The I . V . Club recognizes graduating seniors who best evidence the qualities of leadership in exemplifying Williamson ¹ s core values . Each year , a select group of graduating seniors is honored with induction into the I . V . Club . All Williamson faculty , staff , and students participate in the selection process for this award .
The induction into the I . V . Club occurs at a formal ceremony each spring . Newly inducted members wear a red chord at Commencement , signifying their accomplishment .
Phi Theta Kappa { 7 / 17 / 18 }
Phi Theta Kappa ( PTK ) Honor Society is the international honor society of associate degree-granting programs . It has more than 2 million members in more than 1,250 chapters in each state of the US and overseas . PTK ' s mission is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students and to provide opportunities for the development of leadership , service , and interest in continuing academic excellence . Qualified Juniors and Seniors are invited each semester to join Williamson ’ s chapter , Beta Chi Mu , and wear blue and gold chords at Commencement .
Student Publications { 6 / 29 / 16 }
The Mechanic , the student yearbook , is published by students with assistance from a staff advisor . The work includes writing , photography , design , and advertising sales . Williamson students also publish the I . V . Monthly Newspaper . Each issue features articles on topics such as athletics , shop activities , dorm happenings , etc .
In addition , the college releases several print and digital publications throughout the year . Upon enrollment , students are required to sign a media release authorizing Williamson to use their images in any of its publications .

The Safety Council ’ s mission is to “ create and foster a culture of safety in order to advance the mission of the college by improving the community ’ s knowledge , appreciation of safe practices , improved campus accountability and guidance , and to formalize inspection , verification , and
