At its core , the plan is deeply rooted in the enduring principle of stewardship and the belief that good stewardship does more than maintain the status quo – no matter how good that status quo is . We are required to take care of and improve what we ’ ve been given , to help it grow , increase , and expand . It ’ s no accident that these are the words you will find repeated most often in this plan . Williamson College of the Trades is a gift that requires a faithful , careful stewardship that maintains fidelity to the truths upon which the college was founded , yet continually seeks to improve , adapt , and grow . This strategic plan is the road map that will guide our faithful stewardship of the gift that is Williamson College of the Trades .
Williamson has a great heritage as the best trade college in the country , expressed daily in the success of our students and graduates . Building on this foundation , we developed a plan that , anchored in our values and traditions , provides the impetus and momentum that will drive us to new levels of excellence . Through its diverse programs and activities , Williamson remains bound to a singular mission : Williamson College of the Trades prepares deserving young men to be respected leaders and productive members of society . Leadership development continues to be a critical component of a Williamson education and this strategic plan .
The success of any plan is only as good as its execution . The entire Williamson community must understand , accept , and take ownership of this plan and provide assessment and feedback to modify and improve it as we move forward . The implementation of this strategic plan is critical to the future success of Williamson . Working as one unified team , communicating with each other , and remaining aligned with the mission , vision , and values of Williamson will ensure that the goals of this strategic plan are achieved .
