Williamson Introduces High School Students to the Trades
About 40 high school students from across the tri-state area and Harlem Childrens ’ Zone , were exposed to the trades and Williamson College of the Trades in two , four-day trade camps . It is hoped they were inspired to pursue the trades as a career . The young men visited each shop and did some hands-on trade work . The camp concluded with the group constructing a complex Japanese gazebo that combined elements of all six Williamson trades . The camps are funded by Nick Ohnell , the principal of Ohnell Capital in Greenwich , Connecticut .
