Horticulture Seniors Complete Beautiful Capstone Project

Horticulture seniors utilized the skills they learned in their three years at Williamson , learned some new skills , and did some problem solving as they constructed their capstone project spring semester . Their project , constructed on the steep hill by the Strine Learning Center , provided a lesson in erosion control and emphasized colorful fall and winter plants . It also provides an attractive focal point at the entrance to the campus . The main feature of their design is a dry streambed , created

by well-placed boulders that allow rain run-off to flow down the hill with minimal erosion on the steep slope .
