Horticulture Students Did Well at NCLC
Horticulture students came in 19th competing against 49 two- and four-year colleges and universities at the 48th annual National Collegiate Landscape Competition ( NCLC ) in Provo , Utah . Williamson came in first place in Arboriculture Techniques , for the third consecutive year , sixth in Landscape Maintenance Operations , and 14th in the Skid Steer Loader Operation competition . The 20 Williamson students competed against 450 students from across the country . NCLC provides an opportunity for Williamson students to meet students and industry professionals from across the country and to test their knowledge and skills in real-world competitive events . This trip is made possible through generous donor support .
