Host of ‘ This Old House ’ Delivers Keynote Address at the 131st Commencement
Kevin O ’ Connor , host of the popular PBS television show “ This Old House ,” inspired the 84 members of the Class of 2W4 , the largest graduating class in Williamson history , as the keynote speaker at Williamson ’ s 131st Commencement on the Betty and Russell 5W0 Harvey Athletic Field on May 23 . He said , “ You cut your own path and look what you got for it : a degree in three years , skills and a vocation , a job , and no debt .” O ’ Connor , President Michael Rounds , William Bonenberger 7W9 , board chairman , and Chris Moran 9W9 , president of the Williamson Association of Alumni , presented the graduating seniors with the Associate in Specialized Technology Degree . As the graduates left the athletic field , each rang the Commencement Bell , signifying he is now a Williamson alumnus .
