__________________________________________________________ Williamson Wins Medals at SkillsUSA State and National Competitions
Williamson students demonstrated their outstanding trade skills at the SkillsUSA state and national competitions . Four earned gold medals and two earned silver medals at state competitions . Gideon Cyr , a senior carpentry student , won a silver medal in carpentry at the national competition in Atlanta , Georgia . In the
state competitions , taking first were Creed Norris 2W4 in Precision Machining ; Gideon Cyr 2W3 in Carpentry ; Scott Wiltshire 2W3 in Carpentry ; and Cameron Wolfe 2W3 in Masonry . Winning silver were Nathan Chase 2W3 in Computer Numerical Control Technician , and Ozzy Rims 2W5 in Residential Wiring .
