William Shakespeare was married at the age of 18 to Anne Hathaway the daughter of a local farmer. She was from 'Yeoman' her family owned a farm one mile west of Stratford in Shottery on November 28 1582.She was 8 years older than Shakespeare. They had a child after 6 months of their marriage called Susana.Two years later the couple had twins called Hamnet and Judith. Their son died in 1596 when he was 11 years old. Loosing his son affected William Shakespeare for the rest of his life also on his work.
