BLUE
FLOWER
Blue is a color that can catch your
eye and make you feel so many emotions
This is an analogous drawing of a flower using Adobe Illustrator on a Bamboo tablet. I started out with the 100 line drawing
and created the shape of the flower. I chose the colors between
blue and purple to use for the drawing. I started out with the
darkest blue in the middle of the flower and worked my way
out gradually getting the lighter blue color more and more. I
had difficulty blending the colors and creating the shadows
under overlapping pedals. Overall, I believe it was a good
drawing but could have been improved more. When I first
look at this drawing, I find myself drawn to the middle darker
blue part of the flower and to the outer pedals.
