The Jug Whether you listen to a piece of music, or a poem, or look at a picture or a jug, or a piece of sculpture, what matters about it is not what it has in common with others of its kind, but what is singularly its own. This is a value drawing drawn using Adobe Illustrator on a Bamboo tablet. I began with a 100 line drawing. The value drawing was the one done in class. It is a jug on top of a reflective surface was probably the easiest to draw for me. It had a simple shape and the way the light was hitting the object made it easy to pick out the middle gray and move to the lighter and darker grays. Once completed, the first thing that caught my attention was the light part of the jug since it was the lightest. 18 - Wilderness Wilderness - 19
