Our campus is excited to have so many new 7 th grade faces on our campus but , we would also like to welcome our new teachers and staff : Cristina Aguilar , Shannon Clakley , Alexandra Naismith , Erin Palmer , Stephany Rosas , Vernell Parkes , Jessica Wooden , Meagan Cligman , Maxine Moore , Chad Cox , Jackie Miller , Scott Johnson , Tamera Lacey , Bonita Kilgo , and Keesa Boyd .

21st Century

We would also like to welcome Mrs . April Chatmon to our campus . Mrs . Chatmon is head of our 21 st Century Grant . This Program is a federal funded afterschool Program that provides free and expanded academic services to students . These expanded services include things such as tutorials , homework help , enrichment activities and College preparation . This is a great way to encourage and facilitate the learning of children .

“ Mi Futuro ”

We are welcoming the Wal-Mart Association Program “ Mi Futuro ” to Our Campus this year . This Program is a Youth Mentoring Program for 8 th Grade Students that was created to improve the Future for the Next generation , regardless of race , economic status or Background .

Our athletic programs our getting a running starting on the fall sports . On Wednesday the 7th Grade Girls had their volleyball practice .
8 th Grade Football Practice looks promising for our team . The 8th Grade boys will continue to practice after school in preparation for their first game on Thursday , Sept . 12 .
