The week ’ s varsity football game vs . Jacksonville was at 7:00 on Thursday and was broadcast live on Channel 21 KTXA Dallas . The first 2000 fans that showed up received a free maroon t-shirt . What an awesome sight it was to see everyone wear maroon and Maroon out the stadium ! The Palestine Wildcats defeated the Jacksonville Indians with a score of 56-35 . Go Wildcats !
Last Saturday the Cross Country Teams competed in the 16th annual Crocket CC Meet .
The Varsity Boys took 3rd place with Tyler Barnard ( 2nd place ) being our top runner .
The Varsity Girls took 3rd place with Olivia Cone ( 15th place ) being our top runner .
The JV Boys won the meet with Lucas Sheeley ( 2nd place ) being our top runner .
The JV Girls took 3rd place with Vanessa Mendoza ( 8th place ) being our top runner .
This weekend we will be hosting the 8th Annual Dogwood Invitational at Story Intermediate School .
Our Freshman football team will play at 5:00 here on Friday and our JV will play at 5:00 at Jacksonville on Friday
Congratulations to our PHS volleyball team for their wins on yesterday against Grapeland .
Match results – Freshman won 2-0 , JV won 2-0 , and Varsity won 3-0 .
The Ladycats next game will be Friday evening beginning at 4:30 pm versus Jacksonville here at the high school .
