The PISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to create a police department within the district at the August school board meeting . The district has hired Bruce Bradley to serve as Director of Safety and to guide the district in the creation of the police department . Officer Bradley , a retired Texas Highway Patrol trooper , brings with him to the district many years of law enforcement experience and training .

At the August school board meeting , Officer Bradley shared that he has visited each of the district ’ s campuses , as well as , the district ’ s new daycare to evaluate every aspect of safety within the district .

Thank you to our elected officials for helping schools ensure the safety of students and staff by allocating funds for school safety during the 2019 legislative session .

PISD Employee Daycare Center staff were recognized by the PISD Board of Trustees at the August school board meeting for working hard to get the new daycare set up in time for the start of school , and for the great work they do with the children of PISD staff .

Mary Brooks , PISD Daycare Director , introduced daycare staff and thanked the Board for providing the new daycare facility . The new daycare was needed due to the

Football Tickets are Pre-sold Mon-Thur 8:30-4 pm and Friday 8:30-12 pm at the PISD Administration Office located at 1007 East Park Avenue .
