ur full team continues to amaze me with innovative and quick response to local needs. A time like this lends itself to personal and professional growth. I have enjoyed learning about new platforms for educational delivery and branching out with a few. I had my first KOAM virtual segment and have a Facebook live planned the first part of May. I have also enjoyed gleaning ideas from and developing partnerships across the State!

Wildcat District Family and Consumer Science team has added another medium to get information to our consumers. The Remind Platform brings Enriching Lives 365 to you by providing concise pieces of sound, relevant information one or two times per week. It is free, you decide how to receive, and a smartphone/Internet is not a requirement! See attached for details!

Community Wellness Conversation Endeavour Moves Forward

Our community coalition partners continue to meet the needs of our communities. With needs ever increasing, the two groups have decided to move forward with our Community Wellness Conversation plans as a part of the Kansas Health Foundation Grant received. Bonding Through Board Games May 4th, 2:00pm

As part of keeping a commitment to our local Family and Community Education (FCE) units and to our community as a whole; I have partnered with the author of Bonding through Board Games Fact Sheet, Elizabeth Brunscheen-Cartagena, to learn about this simple tool that strengthens family relationships. Board games foster the six major qualities strong families exhibit across cultures worldwide and in all family types. Simple and fun games will be introduced, providing inspiration for a family board game night of your own!

New to Medicare Series: Understanding the A,B,C & D’s of Medicare
